Resumen o descripción
Human papillomaviruses (HPVs) are small double-stranded DNAviruses that are themain factors for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, warts, and, less commonly, nonmelanoma skin cancers (NMSCs) [1]. To produce precancerous lesions, the HPV infects the basal stratum of injured stratified epithelia at a variety of anatomical sites. Once the HPV genome has entered the cell, early HPV oncogenes synergize with environmental cofactors to induce cellular immortalization and tumour growth [2]
