Preliminary reflections after a long historical investigation on an « actual debate » on a possible change in the imposition of sacerdotal celibacy in the Roman Catholic church, a discipline old of eight centuries, not to be found in the other Christian churches, either the Orthodox, or the Protestant Churches. Difficulties of the subject; the woman and God; body and society from Seneca to Augustine.
Reflexiones preliminarias al final de una larga investigación histórica sobre “un tema de actualidad”, como lo es la pregunta sobre un eventual cambio en la disciplina romana, vieja de ocho siglos, que consiste en ordenar al sacerdocio únicamente hombres célibes. Las dificultades del tema; la mujer y Dios; cuerpo y sociedad en los primeros siglos del cristianismo, hasta San Agustín.
Réflexions préliminaires au terme d’une longue enquête historique sur un « sujet d’actualité », à savoir le débat sur un éventuel changement dans la discipline romaine, vieille de huit siècles, qui consiste à n’ordonner au sacerdoce que des hommes célibataires. Les difficultés inhérentes au thème; la femme et Dieu ; corps et société dans les premiers siècles du christianisme, jusqu’à Saint Augustin.
