"El trabajo fue desarrollado en 1994 - 1995 en nogaleras del sureste del estado de Coahuila con el objeto de determinar la incidencia poblacional del parasitoide Calliephiaites grapholithae y su relación con el gusano barrenador del ruezno, fenologia del cultivo y clima. Los resultados obtenidos nos muestran que el vuelo de adultos de Calliephiaites grapholithae se presenta durante dós etapas del desarrollo del cultivo, la primera en la época de brotación del cultivo , y la segunda se localiza al final del ciclo, coincidiendo con la apertura de rueznos y la entrada a diapausa de Cydia carayna. Desarrolla su actividad parasítica sobre larvas de 40 y 5° estadio dentro de un rango térmico que fluctua entre 15 -17 °C."
"Insidence of a populatión of Caillephlaftes grapholíthae (Cresson) parasíte tera: lchneumonidae south-east of the State of Coahuila, Mexico and its relation with the Hycory shuckworm Cydía raryana (Fítch) (Lepidoptera :Tortricidae) by Cey words: Pecan, Hycory shuckworm, Cydía caryana, Callíephíaltes, Bíological control. This research was developed in 1994-1995 in walnuts of southeast ';oahuila, Mexico. The objetive was to determine the insidence of populations Calliephialtes grapholithae and their relation with the Hycory shuckworm, stages of the crop and climate. The resuits indicate that adults of Calliephialtes grapholithae are present finco of the stages of walnut development. The first time when this parasite ís present is when the crop is reachina the bud stage and the second one at the end of the cycle. This coincides with the openning of the nut wat and the beginning of Irle Cydía caryana diapause. Calliephialtes grapholithee develops its activity as a parasite on larvaes of Cydía caryana at 4th and 5th stage within of a thermic rank that fiuctuates between 15 and 17°C."
