El presente trabajo aborda el estudio de la imagen del paisaje urbano en Mexicali, Baja California, visto a través de sus habitantes. Aplica el Modelo Simplificado de la Realidad para obtener los componentes objetivos y subjetivos del paisaje, integrado en tres sistemas: Espacio Objetivo, Espacio Sociocultural y Espacio Tecnológico. Identifica y describe las variables que los determinan y en su conjunto son representaciones que reflejan aspectos significativos del paisaje.
The present work undertakes the study of the image of the urban landscape in Mexicali, Baja California, sight through its inhabitants. It applies the Simplified Model of the Reality to obtain the components subjective objectives and of the landscape, integrated in three systems: Objective space, Sociocultural Space and Technological Space. It identifies and it describes the variables determine that them and as a whole they are representations that reflect significant aspects of the landscape.
