"El control químico y biológico en el manejo sostenible requiere conocer los riesgos, selectividad y condiciones de uso de los insecticidas, para esto se comparó la tolerancia de Chrysoperla carnea a la concentración de campo de insecticidas; abamectina, endosulfan y profenofos; El profenofos fue el insecticida que mostro una alta toxicidad para los estadios larvales y adulto. Para la abamectina presento efectos perjudiciales en L1 y un efecto negativo en la oviposición. Para el endosulfan presento efectos perjudiciales para los estadios de huevecillo, L1 y L2, sin ejercer efecto para L3 y pupa."

The chemical and biological control in sustainable management requires knowing the risks, selectivity and conditions of use of insecticides, in that matter, tolerance of Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) to field concentration abamectin, endosulfan and profenofos was compared. Profenofos was the insecticide that showed the higher toxicity to larvae and adults. Abamectin showed toxicity over 1st instar larvae and a negative effect on oviposition and endosulfan had adverse effects on eggs, 1stand 2nd instar larvae,and had no negative effect over 3rd instarand pupae.
