Resumen o descripción
Adequate nutrition during the production of seedlings favors the growth and development of the crop at the moment of being transplanted. Phosphorus is a nutrient limiting the growth of plants, since it helps the development of the root system. Due to the relevance of this nutrient, the objective of the research was to evaluate the effect of different concentrations of phosphorus in nutrient solution, on the production of cucumber seedlings (Cucumis sativus L.'Zapata ') and habanero pepper (Capsicum chinense Jacq.' Big Brother '). In a modification of the nutrient solution (SN) Steiner four concentrations of H2PO4- (1, 2, 3 and 4meq · l-1) were tested. Seedlings of cucumber and habanero pepper received seven irrigations with SNs, with intervals of two days between irrigation.
