Producción y cambios morfológicos de Pennisetum ciliare cv. H-17 en función de la edad de rebrote y altura de pradera

Dry matter production (DM) and morphological composition were evaluated according to regrowth age (RA; four, six,

and eight weeks) and prairie height (PH) in Pennisetum ciliare cv. H-17, during rainy season (RS) and drought (DS). The variables were total MS (TDM), leaf (LDM), stem (SDM), dead material (DMDM) and PH. A completely randomized design with four repetitions and linear regression analysis was used. During RS, the TDM was similar (p > 0.05) between RA (8342 kg ha-1) and decreased 90% in DS.

Las especies arbóreas se utilizan para mejorar la nutrición de rumiantes y Moringa oleifera, puede ser una alternativa de alimentación, por el forraje de alto valor nutritivo. Sin embargo, los arreglos topológicos modifican la estructura de la planta y en consecuencia el valor nutritivo. Por tanto, se evaluó el efecto de diferentes densidades de población (D50, D100 y D200 para 50, 100 y 200 mil plantas ha-1 , respectivamente) y cinco cortes cada 28 días sobre las características morfológicas de Moringa oleifera, bajo un diseño de bloques completos al azar con arreglo en parcelas divididas y tres repeticiones, en condiciones de temporal y durante el periodo de julio a noviembre de 2017. Las variables evaluadas fueron: altura de rebrote (AR), diámetro basal de planta (DBP), número de ramas (NRP), contenido relativo de clorofila (CRC), índice de área foliar (IAF) y área foliar especifica (AFE).

The objective of this study was to evaluate two seed sizes in the physiological quality of orchard grass and perennial ryegrass (Dactylis glomerata L., Lolium perenne L.). The treatments were two sizes of seed (large:LS and small:SS). The variables were: emergence (EM), abnormal seedlings (AS), non-germinated seeds (NGS), establishment (ES), viability (VI), speed of emergence (SE), seedling height (SH), and root length (RL). A CRD with 4 repetitions were used. It was observed that, regardless of the size, the EM was higher in perennial ryegrass (p¿0.05), compared to orchard

grass, due to it presenting the highest (p¿0.05) percentage of AS and NGS.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of season and regrowth age on the herbage yield, morphological composition and structural characteristics in Insurgente grass. Three regrowth age were studied (RA: 28, 35 and 42 days) in three seasons of the year (rainy, north, dry), in a completely randomized block design in a split plot array, with four replicates plots. The following attributes were taken into account, herbage yield, plant height, morphological composition and leaf: stem and leaf: no leaf ratio. The distribution of herbage yield was 30, 5 and 65 % for rainy, north and dry seasons, respectively, with an annual average accumulation of 10.869 kg DM ha- 1 and 32 cm plant height.
